Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about how we work, what it costs, and how we keep your data and systems safe.
Everything you need to know before we start
What kind of companies do you work with?
Mostly growing small and mid-sized businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and manual handoffs but don't want to build a large in-house engineering team. We also work alongside in-house product and data teams that need senior capacity for AI, automation or analytics work.
How do we start a project with you?
It starts with a 30-minute discovery call about your goals, current process and constraints. If there's a fit, we run a short discovery phase, usually one to two weeks, to map the workflow, check your data and systems and agree on success metrics. You get a written proposal with scope, timeline and cost before any build work begins.
Do you work with clients outside Pakistan?
Yes. We're based in Lahore and work with clients internationally. We schedule calls in overlapping hours for North American, European, Middle Eastern and Asia-Pacific time zones, and keep work visible between calls with shared boards, recorded demos and written updates.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope, the number of systems involved, data quality and how much must be custom-built rather than configured. Focused automations and pilots often start under $15k, while full platforms and production machine-learning systems are larger investments. Discovery gives you an itemized estimate before you commit to a build.
What engagement models do you offer?
- Discovery sprint: a short, fixed-price engagement to map the opportunity and produce a plan.
- Fixed-scope project: a defined deliverable, timeline and price.
- Dedicated team: a monthly engagement for ongoing product, data or automation work.
- Support & optimization: monitoring, maintenance and continuous improvement after launch.
How long does a typical project take?
Focused automations and pilots usually ship in four to eight weeks. Custom web platforms, data platforms and machine-learning systems typically take three to six months, delivered in stages so you see working software every two weeks instead of waiting for a single launch date.
How involved does our team need to be?
We need a decision-maker who owns the outcome and access to the people who do the work today. Expect a few hours during discovery, a short weekly check-in and demo during the build, and time for acceptance testing before launch. We handle the rest, including documentation and training.
What happens after launch?
Every launch includes a hypercare period where we monitor closely and fix issues fast. After that you can take over with the documentation and training we provide, or keep us on a support plan for monitoring, maintenance, model and prompt tuning, and new improvements.
Who owns the code, models and data?
You do. Once invoices are paid, the source code, trained models, infrastructure configuration and documentation are yours, and your data always remains yours. We deploy into accounts you control wherever possible, so there is no lock-in if you later bring the work in-house.
How do you handle data security and confidentiality?
We sign an NDA before reviewing sensitive material, use least-privilege access to your systems and keep production data inside your cloud where possible. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is logged, and when we use AI model providers we choose configurations that don't use your data to train their models.
